Dear Friends,

We in India have lot of superstitions. My grandmother ( an intelligent woman!!!) would always say they had a scientific reason...for example

It is considered that dropping mustard on the floor means there is going to be fight in the house. But the actual reason is that it is so small, once dropped it is difficult to pick-up.

I was wondering if others know about such superstitions and the reason behind them.
